You cannot imagine how pleased I was when I saw what Bixuan had done to make your migration / initiation to wordpress as fuss free as humanly possible..

If there are posts that you REALLY have to import over to WordPress (posts that are related to the trip) from over here to Blogger, there is a way. When there is a will, there is a way.

ALL IMAGES ARE ENLARGE-ABLE, PLEASE CLICK ON THEM TO DO SO.

Follow tightly! Anyway, I’ll start off by the signing up just in case alot of us don’t have a proper WP (short for WordPress from now on) account.

1. Firstly, you definitely have to access the URL which hosts WP, http://www.wordpress.com/, if you don’t know already.

2. Click on the (red-circled) green box which says ‘Sign Up Now!’ which will link you to the next screen (number 3).

3. Fill up the form accordingly to your liking.

By then, there should be a screen telling you that your account has successfully been created, and that you would need to visit the mailbox of the email address you provided to activate the account. The email title would go something like ‘Activate yoururlhere.wordpress.com’.

4. After activation, access WP again. Sign in with your confirmed details at the Facebook-look-alike column which goes ‘Already Hip?’

5. If all is going well, your account should already have been created now!

Register your blog at the same column.

Then, click on the blog (like the red-circled one) and you are ready to play around with your WP. Hee.

6. To IMPORT posts from Blogger, click on the tab ‘Manage’.

7. Then, click on the sub-tab ‘Import’. You should see ‘Blogger’. Click on it.

PLEASE GRANT PERMISSION. DO NOT DENY OR THE PROCESS SHALL NOT CONTINUE.

8. Keep clicking on ‘The Magic Button’ whenever they prompt you to.

9. After a while (depending on how many posts you import), click on the ‘Set Authors’ button and your posts are safely (and successfully) brought over to WP. Fret not, the original posts in Blogger will stay where they are.
